Alamo Township is located in southwest Michigan near Kalamazoo. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: It was brought to the townships attention that some absentee ballots that have been mailed out do not have a TO: address on it. These ballots need to be sent to: Alamo Township 7901 N 6th Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49009.

This issue has been corrected for any outgoing ballots and we apologize for any inconvenience.

Treasurer: Late fees will be added to any summer taxes not paid, as of Sept. 15, 2018. Taxes will have to be paid at the Kalamazoo County Treasurer’s office, as of March 1, 2019. Winter taxes will be going out Dec. 1, 2018.

Planning Commission: Due to Elections, the Nov. 6th Planning Commissioner’s next meeting will be held at the Herenwood Nature Center. 6378 Hart Drive at 7:00pm.

The Township Supervisor is available during office hours and at other times by  appointment.  The Clerk holds office hours on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9 to noon.  The Treasurer is frequently available during the above listed office hours.  Please feel welcome to stop in or call.
