NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO: ALL RESIDENTS OF ALAMO TOWNSHIP and ALL OTHER INTERESTED PARTIES
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Alamo Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at its regular meeting on March 6, 2012, at 7:00 p.m., local time, or as soon thereafter as the agenda may permit, at the Alamo Township Hall, 7901 North 6th Street, Kalamazoo, Michigan, 49009, to consider, among other things properly before it, an Application for a Special Use Permit received from NextNav, L.L.C., for property owned and/or leased by Rockwood Development Corporation and American Tower Corporation, located at 7833 Adobe Road, Kalamazoo, MI 49009, which property is legally described as follows:

The property is zoned I-1 Industrial District. The purpose for the Special Use Permit is to consider a Special Exception Use Permit for a wireless communication tower already sited on the premises and to consider proposed additions to and/or modifications of the tower at the above location.
The Planning Commission reserves the right to grant or deny the requested special use permit and, if granted, to place such conditions and safeguards upon the permit and its issuance as are necessary and/or appropriate to protect residents and property within the Township.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that all residents and interested parties are invited to attend and be heard. Written comments received by the Alamo Township Clerk at the Township Hall before or at the meeting will be considered.
Alamo Township will provide necessary and reasonable services to individuals with disabilities at the meeting referred to above upon three (3) days notice given to Garilyn Sportel Bogard, the Alamo Township Clerk. Individuals with disabilities wishing to attend the meeting who require any services to assist them in participating should contact Garilyn Sportel Bogard by writing the Township Hall at the address listed above or calling the Township Hall at 382-3366.
