Park Rules & Regulations

 

Welcome to the Alamo Township Park. Thank you for following all park rules and regulations. The Township strives to create a safe, clean and enjoyable environment for the benefit of the community. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Please note the following park rules and/or restrictions.

No bows, traps or other weapons are permitted.
No possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages or any illegal drugs or controlled substances.
No camping except with permission of the Park Board.
No destruction or removal of plant life, including downed trees, earth, gravel or sand.
No destruction or injury to any monument, fence, bridge, tree, flower, equipment or any other property in the park.
No dumping of household waste. No littering.
No fires except in a fireplace or grill designated for that purpose. Fires must be extinguished upon leaving.
Pets must be on a leash. Pet refuse must be picked up by the pet owner when left on any park foot path, road or improved area of the park.
There is no soliciting in the park. Sale of merchandise in connection with an event or activity must be authorized by the Park Board.
Alamo Township parks are designated animal preserves. Persons may not hunt, trap, capture or disturb animals or their habitats.
Motorized vehicles must operate in accordance with state law and township ordinances. Park roadways are one-way. Vehicles must remain in areas designated for driving or parking.
Threatening or profane language and/or disorderly or indecent conduct are prohibited.

A certified police officer or Park Ranger may issue a citation to persons who violate the Park Ordinance or any park rules. Citations are considered a municipal civil infraction and include a fine.
