Welcome to the Alamo Township Park. Thank you for following all park rules and regulations. The Township strives to create a safe, clean and enjoyable environment for the benefit of the community. Your cooperation is appreciated.
An Alamo student has taken on a project in the park for school. Megan Nichols is identifying trees along our hiking trails. Make sure to take a look! The designs on each sign are hand drawn by Megan. This project was funded in part by the Alamo Parks Board and the Alamo Foundation.
Gates on the ball park entrance will open April 1st
The Bunny Trail will be April 14th 11am -1pm. (rain date is April 21st. This event is FREE and open to ALL ages. A section of the trail will be decorated for the communities’ enjoyment. There will be eggs to gather and we will have activities and goodies while supplies last.
Up coming improvements/additions planned for the park this year are as follows: *electrical update to the concession stand (done)
*Horse-Shoe and Volleyball pits (horse shoes will be available for check out at the concession stand)
*Up-dated security (done)
* replacing of old benches on the hiking trails
The parks board currently has one opening. We would like to thank Jim Endres for his time served and look forward to working with him in the future.
